Instituted to inspire and motivate people all around the world in the direction of self-education, the mission of the LMSE charity is to highlight, endorse, and recognize self-education.

It used to be thought that one of the pre-requisites to obtain the "American dream" was to have a college diploma. The assumption of immediate gainful employment,
following commencement day, was the commonly used justification for such a large financial investment as many believed that a college degree would prove to be the most valuable asset in the business world.

But what happens to those who are not even high school graduates? What about those who could not afford college, or started, but for whatever reason did not finish? Are they exempt from becoming highly successful men and women? The answer is no.
